I learned the lesson again. Looked before I leap. I also thought this was the same as the iPad app.

Even though these guys are imposters which is bad enough they could have made a decent app before just throwing it on the app store. this app crashes and looses connection constantly for no reason it really isnt worth the time to download as a free app let alone a paid one.
I was very dissapointed with this app. I feel like I want a refund. It doesnt show the actual weather that was in my area. Save your money. This app is terrible
Not same great Weather HD app as iPad. Locked up with tutorial always showing behind the weather for the locations I selected. Graffics are blahhhhh to be kind. Dont wast your money. Get Weather+ if you want a great weather app for Mac
It looks very generic, and the icon looks bad in my dock. Also, I cant make the window smaller and it takes over my entire desktop
This works, but it doesnt do much and when open, it takes up a huge amount of screen real estate. The weather apps on my iPod Touch offer ten-day forecasts, weather maps, hourly temps/wind/precip. This software gives me three days, nothing hourly, no maps, not even a percentage chance of rain.
Tray icon keeps showing wrong temperature.
Absolutely worthless. I suggest putting a link on your desktop to any well known weather site. this thing is simplified and dumb. a waste of time to install.
I thought this would be cool but its terrible. I add my location and it gives me an odd temperature or it says it cant find my location. I wasted 99 cents.
If you want a weather software dont download this. Youll know as much about the weather by just looking out your window.
If all you want is a cute icon and page display with only temperature and wind...this may work for you. But, if you want any detailed long-range forecast, or hourly conditions, forget it. For me personally, this is a "pretty" bad weather applicaion.
This app works perfectly. I thought it wasnt working until I realized that I was seeing the temperature in Celsius instead of Farenheit.
Ugh... I thought this was a transparent addition to my desktop!
I bought this app to see the morning temperature so I get an idea of how to dress for my morning run. The daily high/low and current temperature it shows is at least 10 degrees lower than the temp showed on any website(or other apps for that matter).
Hello everyone. I would highly recommend this weather app. The customer service alone is worth the price of admission.Something that cant be truthfully spoken of much these days. Nice graphics and the built in GPS makes it great for travel.A bargain basement price for a buck.Easily worth 3 times the price and still be ahead value wise. Also comes with programable locations and a three day forcast to suite your travel and curiosity needs.
In prior updates, I was very critical of this app. Now I enjoy its simplicity and its ease of use. Thanks!
This app is highly accurate and very helpful but, it needs to be updated. It needs a five day forecast and a severe weather warning alert.
In my previous review (for 1.7 - below the *s), I felt that the app was incomplete and the time setting was inaccurate. When I wrote to the company, I received a reply within hours, from one of the co-founders, explaining that the problem was due to the recent release of "Lion" and that a fix was on the way. True to his word, here is the fix (1.8) and the app now meets all my expectations. I can now recommend this app without reservation. Does what it says, and does it well and beautifully. Along with the great customer service, I say buy it. ***************************************************************************** (version 1.7 review) Im not sure how this app got so many 5 star ratings. This looks like a nice visual and complete weather app, but it is not complete. The preference menu item is grayed out, and all preferences are done from the main screen. It automatically starts out with Celsius readings. You have to change that if you want Fahrenheit, but if you have it in your dock, anytime you log out or shut down, the dock will return Celsius readings until you run the app. Also, I could find no way to correct the time. Though my machine is set up correctly (and I double checked my settings), this app shows 4 hours ahead of my time on the East Coast of US no matter what I tried (interestingly, the alarm settings indicate the correct time). Additional cities can be added easily, and for my area, it seemed to give an accurate temperature and range, along with humidity and winds and conditions. I would suggest you avoid this app until it is completed. It has nice potential, but it is just not finished.
Not well designed. More trouble than its worth.
Im already sorry I purchased this app. I accidentally "scrolled" past the last location, and now I cant add new locations, cant scroll to a new location, and even after re-installing it, I still have the same problem. How hard can it be to create a decent weather application?
