this product has too many bugs inside (can not resize window, cant see the weather forecast fully and no dock info), no need to purchase until the next and stabile version.

But I want fullscreen!

Rather average app, strange how it made it to the top of the charts, mediocre graphics, no animation effects whatsoever. Very poor customization, no way to change wind speed display from miles per hour to km per hour, or m/sec, no way to choose providers, did not see barometric pressure readings, so - NOT WORTH the money, just get a similar free app instead. Just to have point of bearing, check out eWeather HD for iPad and iPhone - it provides: sattelite imaging, pressure, temp and pressure graphs, earthquakes info, hourly forecasts, weekl long forecasts, and many more: all of which is SADLY MISSING HERE>

Love the simplicity. Does what it is supposed to, with minimum clutter, easy graphics.

I should have read the review here before buying this junk. I have Weather HD on iPad, and its just gorgeous and works very well. The developer is obviously profiting from the innocence of a few.

we are expected to get 2 to 6 inches of snow and this was showing showers. totally useless

I really like Weather HD on my iPad, but this is not by the same people. It is a really bad application. I suspect there are copyright issues as well. Apple does damage to their credibility by hosting something like this.

This is not the Weather HD I was expecting. I cant get the instructions to disappear off the page which is annoying. And when it sits in my dock - it would be nice if it showed the current temperature verus some random temerature.

A waste of money!

I like the look of this app. I thought itd be cool to use on a mac mini connected to my HDTV. Couple issues though: You cant resize the window and the time is wrong. It shows AM when its really PM. Couple cool features would be if you minimized the app into the dock, it would be cool if it would update and show the temp like the ical dock icon shows the actual date. Also would be cool if the sun in the dock icon would change based on time of day and weather conditions. Also would be nice if you could add other locations and then somehow switch between them. Not bad for a buck.

The thing comes up way to big!!! The bottom part is off the screen and i cant even drag it to make it smaller!!! Fix this!!!

Only bought the app to test an App Store bug. It wasnt worth what I paid for it.

don t even fit in the MacAir 11.6 screen! bugs and autoreset.

I am very disappointed that Apple would allow this to be put on the App Store. It will not work on a MacAir, wont recognize the internet connection. DO NOT BUY THIS, I am deleting it from my MacAir, I guess the 99 cents is a small price to pay. Apple should be embarrassed.

Come on people. Use your minds!!!! Stop complaining that the developer of Weather HD didnt produce a comparable Mac App when compared to the iPhone/iPad version. The reason for this is that Presselite misappropriated the name of the App and produced this piece of garbage just to make $$$ off of the name. Apple really needs to do something about this kind of name squatting. I wasted 99 cents on this "app" STAY AWAY FROM ANTHING FROM PRESSELITE!!!!!!

So why all the low ratings...easy; Presslite swiped the name of another good weather app belonging to a competitor. Its that simple. Now, as for the functionality of this app...its excellent, sorry guys if your bitter about the name, but the fact is, this app works and works well for what it is. This app is for the person that wants beautiful simplicity. Not a bunch of virtual dials and instruments to dazzle and amaze, Presslite took the "less is more" approach when they made Weather HD. This simplicity may not work the budding meteorologist, or the family weather geek, but theres no denying that anyone can figure out the current weather and forcast at first glance with Weather HD. Its intuitive, its simple, and its not trying to be more than it is...sort of wish people were like that... Now, the company Vimov who originally used the Weather HD name for their iOS weather apps, makes an equally wonderful product, but its a different kind of animal all together. Vimovs product is like if Apple had Pixar make a weather app...well you get the picture. But fair is fair, this app is simple to use, easy on the eyes, and straight forward and uses nil for computer resources. But the five finger discount on the name keeps it from getting the 5 stars it truely deserves. So 4 it is.

Its better with the resizing but still no full screen mode like promised. NEEDS: better/longer forcast, easier changing of lcoations, animations of weather would be awesome!!!

Were the developers of the top-selling "Weather HD" for iPhone and iPad. This Mac application IS NOT our application. The developer is mis-appropriately using our name in selling this application, and it has no relation to do with vimov, creators of the original Weather HD!

This product is a rip off and shouldnt be purchased. Says that it gives dynamic temp while on the dock... mine stays at the default 23 degrees with the sun and a hill. This isnt the same app that is on the iPhone/iPad.
